Talking Heads:
Senator Edward Kennedy made a rare appearance on This Week.
George Will was on vacation, so he got off easy.

Congressman Rick Lazio made two appearances on Crossfire last week.
He came off very well, seldom mentioning Mayor Giuliani
The debate focused on Hillary Clinton's carpetbaging.
Speaking of….. Senator McConnell's appearance last week was a classic,
complete with a carpetbag as a gift for Hillary.

An upstate New York poll released by the Sienna Research Institute July 7, shows:

Giuliani: 49%
Clinton: 40%

Quotes from Jimmie Breslin, a liberals liberal in a New York Newsday:
article on July 7, 1999 entitled "Hillary Panders to New Yorkers":

"I am sure that she is a bogus woman with no idea of where she is
or anything else, except that she doesn't want to talk about her husband,
of which the world knows what he did".

"Hillary Clinton gets her issues out of a flea market".

"She wants the upstate milk cartel to get price rises that will
cost children in Harlem 20 cents more for milk
and she will defend them. She has no idea of
what she was doing, and that is fine with everybody else".

This week should tell the tale for Missouri bikers.
If the governor doesn't sign the helmet law repel bill by
Wednesday July 14, it becomes law anyway.
Let's keep our fingers crossed.
